Naadan Meen Karri With Kudam Puli

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 kg Fish King Fish
  • 5 nos Kokum Kudam puli
  • 2 tbsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 no Onion big
  • or
  • 8 - Shallots Kunjulli
  • Ginger A medium size piece
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 7 nos Garlic pods
  • 5 stems Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Fenugreek Uluva
  • Salt As reqd
  • 4 - Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add onions, green chillies, ginger, garlic and 3 stems of curry leaves and saute till onion becomes slight golden brown colour.
  • Add 1/2 spoon of coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
  • Add kokum and fenugreek.
  • Add enough water, 2 stems of curry leaves and salt and mix well.
  • Add fish pieces into it and cook for 12 - 15 mins.
