Daddojanam
Traditional dish - Andhra style Curd rice with seasoning

- 2 cups Rice
- 2 cups Curd
- Salt As reqd
- 1/4 bunch Coriander leaves finely chopped
For seasoning:-
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
- 15 - Curry leaves
- 1/4" piece Ginger finely chopped
- 2 - Dry red chillies Kollamulaku
- 1 no Green chilly
- 10 nos Cashews
- 1/4 tsp Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
- 1 tbsp Refined oil
Pressure cook the rice.
Allow the rice to cool and mash it lightly.
Add curd to the rice and add salt to taste. Keep it aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds followed by other ingredients for seasoning.
Once done, move out the kadai from the flame and add the curd rice to this seasoning. Mix well.
Garnish with finely chopped green coriander leaves.
:- Serve with lemon pickle(nimmakaya paachadi).
