North Indian Paalak Paneer
Dish made with Paalak(Spinach) and Paneer(White cheese/Indian cheese)

- 3 bunches Paalak
- 1 no Onion chopped, medium
- 1 inch Ginger chopped
- 3 nos Green chillies chopped
- 1/4 kg Paneer
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Soda bicarbonate
- Oil for deep frying
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- Salt As reqd
- 4 tbsp Fresh cream for garnishing
Chop spinach very fine.
Add 1/4 cup water and soda bicarbonate and cook till done.
Blend into liquidiser and keep aside.
Cut paneer into 1 inch pieces and deep fry and keep aside.
Fry cut onion, ginger and chillies in ghee.
Add turmeric powder, while frying.
Add the paalak, paneer and salt.
Cook for about 5 - 10 mins.
Garnish with fresh cream.
