Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Mutton
  • 200 gm Curd
  • 2 nos Onion medium
  • 3 nos Onion mdium
  • 3 nos Tomato medium
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
  • 1 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup Mint leaves Pudhina
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Red chilly powder As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3/4 kg Basmati rice
  • Whole garam masala (taste)
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Marinate for 2 - 3 hrs the mutton with curd, onion, tomato, coriander leaves, pudina, garam masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt(accordingly), 1/3 of fried onions, 1 tbsp of very hot oil.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add all whole garam masala like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and bay leaves qty according to ur choice.
  • After some time when oil is very very hot, pour water.
  • :- If the qty of rice is 4 glasses, then add 4 glasses of water.
  • Allow it to boil without lid.
  • Let all the water get soaked.
  • At the end, the rice will be half cooked.
  • Heat oil in a big cooker.
  • Add the marinated mutton followed by the rice.
  • Keep the cooker on high flame for 10 mins and on low flame 10 mins.
  • :- Totally avoid whistle. Cooker should be properly closed.
  • Garnish with fried onion, coriander leaves, pudina leaves, saffron mixed in milk/water(for colors and smell) and ghee.
  • Sprinkle some milk at the end for moisture. Ready to eat. Relish & Enjoy!!!!!!!! This recipe is especially for newly married as it is very easy to prepare and tastes good...
