Soya Chunks Masala Easy

Spicy curry with soya chunks

Ingredients
  

  • 100 gm Soya chunks soaked in water, Meal maker
  • 2 nos Onion sliced thinly, medium
  • 2 nos Tomato Medium
  • Ginger finely chopped
  • 6 nos Garlic pods finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp Grated coconut
  • 2 tbsp Cashewnuts soaked in water
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Grind together the grated coconut and the soaked cashew nuts into a paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add onions, ginger and garlic and sautT well.
  • Add tomatoes followed by all the powders including salt and sautT.
  • Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
  • Grind together the above mixture in a mixer grinder into a smooth paste.
  • Heat up a pan or a kadai.
  • Add the above paste along with the soya chunks and allow it to cook for 15 mins.
  • When the soya chunks are done, add the cashew-coconut paste.
  • Simmer for 5 mins.
  • :- Adjust the level of salt.
  • When it starts to thicken, remove from flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
