Cream Of Asparagus Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 400 gm Asparagus
  • 100 gm Carrot
  • 30 gm Turnip
  • 30 gm Onion
  • 30 gm Refined flour
  • 30 gm Butter
  • 300 ml Milk
  • Pepper A pinch
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Clean all the vegetables.
  • Roughly chop them and boil.
  • Once the vegetables are tender, cool and puree.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed pan.
  • Add butter and melt on a low flame.
  • Add refined flour and cook it for a min.
  • Add hot milk and cook till thick.
  • :- The white is ready.
  • Add pureed vegetables to the white sauce by stirring constantly.
  • Strain the mixture through a sieve.
  • Boil the sieved mixrure and adjust the seasoning.
  • Garnish with cream.
  • :- Serve hot.
