Wash all dals and paalak.
Place them along with ginger, green chillies and 1/2 cup of water in a pressure cooker.
Pressure cook approximately for 12 mins.
Cool it to room temperature.
Grind 1/4 of the above mixture into a coarse form.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Add crushed garlic.
Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
:- If desired, you can add asafoetida also.
Add the dal mix and stir.
Slowly add milk.
Add paneer pieces and boil it for 1/2 min.
:- Serve with rice or rotis. It can be used as a soup too.
