Sift the flour with baking powder.
Cream butter and sugar.
Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks.
Dissolve cocoa in little water and cook on a low fire and keep aside.
Fold the flour into the sugar-egg mixture.
Beat egg white, sift and fold in.
Pour half the quantity into a prepared tin.
Mix cocoa to the remaining batter.
Pour small amount of it on the top of the white layer with the frinkles.
Mix white and black layer in order to produce lime.
Bake in a moderate oven, till done.
