Gobi Manchuri

Cauliflower fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Cauliflower
  • 2 nos Onion
  • 1 no Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup Corn flour
  • 1/2 cup Gram flour Kadalapodi
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 4 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chilly paste
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Place the cauliflower pieces in water and heat for 5 mins.
  • Mix together corn flour, gram flour or besan, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilli paste and soya sauce with water to make a thick batter.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Dip the florets in the above batter.
  • Deep fry them, till they become crispy.
  • Remove them from the pan onto a plate.
  • Heat 2 tsp of oil in the same pan.
  • Fry onions, till it becomes golden brown.
  • Add capsicum and fry for a min.
  • Add a pinch of soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and salt.
  • Add the fried cauliflower and mix well, till the cauliflower is coated with sauce.
