Kappa-Chakka Puzhukku

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Tapioca or Jackfruit(Chakka) Kappa
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 nos Green chillies split
  • 5 nos Garlic pods
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 sprigs Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Cook tapioca or jackfruit pieces in water along with turmeric powder & salt, until they are soft.
  • Grind the coconut into a fine paste along with cumin seeds, green chillies and garlic.
  • Add this paste to the cooked tapioca or jack fruit pieces and stir well.
  • :- Cook for 2 - 3 minutes, if you don`t like the taste of raw coconut - optional.
  • Pour 2 tsp of coconut oil and add curry leaves and stir well.
  • :- Serve hot.
