Kappa-Chakka Puzhukku Kerala special Tapioca(Kappa) or Jackfruit(Chakka) curry 2 cups Tapioca or Jackfruit(Chakka) (Kappa)1 tsp Turmeric powder5 nos Green chillies (split)5 nos Garlic pods1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 cup Grated coconutSalt (As reqd)2 sprigs Curry leaves2 tsp Coconut oil Cook tapioca or jackfruit pieces in water along with turmeric powder & salt, until they are soft.Grind the coconut into a fine paste along with cumin seeds, green chillies and garlic.Add this paste to the cooked tapioca or jack fruit pieces and stir well.:- Cook for 2 - 3 minutes, if you don`t like the taste of raw coconut - optional.Pour 2 tsp of coconut oil and add curry leaves and stir well.:- Serve hot.
