Chakkakkuru Pavakka Mezhukkupuratti Chakkakuru(Jackfruit seeds) & Pavakka(Bittergourd) fry 1 cup Pavakka (cut into thin slices, Bittergourd)1 cup Chakkakkuru (cut into thin pieces, Jackfruit seeds)5 nos Small onions (Kunjulli)3 nos Red chillies (Kollamulaku)1 no Onion (chopped, big)3/4 tsp Turmeric powder1/2 tsp Chilly powder3 tsp Coconut oilSalt (As reqd) Cook the bittergourd pieces and jackfruit seed pieces along with turmeric powder, chilly powder & salt, until they are well cooked. :- If water is left after cooking, drain it.Make a paste of small onions & red chillies. Heat oil in a pan.Fry the onion-chilly paste in it.Add the cooked bitter gourd & jack fruit seed pieces into it. Stir well.Fry the big onion pieces in oil, until they turn golden brown and add this to the above.:- Serve hot with rice. Kerala
