Kerala Style Vegetable Korma

Ingredients
  

  • 100 gm Green peas
  • 1 no Cauliflower small
  • 50 gm Beans
  • 1 no Carrot big
  • 1 no Potato
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Aniseed Perinjeerakam
  • 1 no Onion big
  • 2 nos Green chillies slit into long pieces
  • 1" Ginger slit into long pieces
  • Garlic slit into long pieces
  • Fresh coconut milk As reqd, thick
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • Garam masala A pinch
  • Coriander leaves For garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Cook green peas, beans, carrot and potato along with salt and water till it is almost done.
  • Steam cauliflower separately for 5 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add aniseeds.
  • Add garlic, ginger & green chillies.
  • When it is done, add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add all the powders and saute for a while.
  • Add a little salt.
  • Add all the cooked vegetables.
  • Pour coconut milk and when the bubbles start coming, switch off the flame.
  • Sprinkle garam masala powder and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • :- Serve with appam, chapathi etc.
