Soaked in a cup of water, Kodam puli

Coconut oil
Instructions
Heat coconut oil in a Meen chatti.
Fry garlic and ginger, till they turn golden.
Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and saute for 10 secs.
:- Do not heat it too much. Fry till oil appears on top.
Add 2 - 3 cups of water.
Add kodum puli along with the water in which it was soaked.
Add fish.
Add salt and mix well.
Allow it to boil and cook in low flame.
Add fenugreek powder when the fish pieces are done.
Stir some coconut oil into the dish and remove vessel from flame.
:- Do not close with a lid during the entire preparation and after.
Allow it to cool.
