Instructions
Mash the rice nicely.
Add salt to curd and beat it well.
Pour the curd to the mashed rice and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds followed by black gram, curry leaves and red chilly.
Add ginger and green chillies and stir for a few secs.
Pour the above into the rice and mix well.
:- The seasoning should not be very hot since there are chances to curdle.
