Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Pineapple(cut into 1/2" square pieces) ripe
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 no Dry red chilly Kollamulaku
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds crushed
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 3 nos Dried red chillies cut into 6 pieces, Kollamulaku
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Cook pineapple along with turmeric and salt in 1/2 cup of water.
  • Grind coconut with dried chillies to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add the coconut paste and saute.
  • Add curry leaves and dried red chillies and continue to saute.
  • When it is done, add the boiled pineapple pieces.
  • :- The gravy should be thick and the cover the pineapple pieces.
  • Add the crushed mustards, just before removing the pachhady from the flame.
