Pineapple
(cut into 1/2" square pieces)
ripe

tsp
Turmeric powder
Salt
As reqd
1
cup
Grated
coconut
1
no
Dry red chilly
Kollamulaku
1
tsp
Mustard seeds
crushed
For seasoning:
2
tsp
Coconut oil
1/2
tsp
Mustard seeds
3
nos
Dried
red chillies
cut into 6 pieces, Kollamulaku
1
sprig
Curry leaves
Instructions
Cook
pineapple
along with
turmeric
and
salt
in 1/2 cup of
water
.
Grind
coconut
with dried chillies to a fine paste.
Heat
oil
in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter
mustard seeds
.
Add the
coconut
paste and saute.
Add
curry leaves
and dried
red chillies
and continue to saute.
When it is done, add the boiled
pineapple
pieces.
:- The gravy should be thick and the cover the
pineapple
pieces.
Add the crushed mustards, just before removing the pachhady from the flame.
