Wash and soak rice for 20 mins. Allow it to drain.
Heat oil in a cooker or a pan.
Season the crushed spices.
Add onion and fry, till it becomes golden brown.
Add peas, tomato, green chillies, mint and coriander leaves and fry, till it becomes soft.
Add rice and saute for 2 - 3 mins.
Add 3 cups of water and salt.
Pressure cook upto 1 whistle or shift the contents to the microwave container and cook it in full power for 10 - 15 mins.
