Cauliflower & Peas Bath

Cauliflower and peas with rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Cauliflower medium
  • 1/4 kg Green Peas
  • 4 nos Tomato
  • 2 nos Onions finely chopped, big
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 cups Rice
  • Green

Instructions
 

  • Wash the cauliflower in hot water with salt. Drain and keep aside.
  • Cook the peas separately.
  • Blanch the tomatoes, peel off the skin and strain it.
  • Grind together green chillies, ginger and small onions and keep it aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add cashewnuts and fry them.
  • Add onions and saute for a minute.
  • Add the ground masala and saute for a minute.
  • Grind the tomatoes(cooked & skin peeled off) and add the paste to the above.
  • Add cooked peas, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Deep fry the cauliflower pieces in oil and add to the above.
  • Add cooked rice and mix well.
