Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Green gram Cheruparippu
  • 3 cups Vegetables cut into cubes
  • White pumpkin(Kumbalanga)
  • Raw banana(Pachhakkai)
  • Elepahant yam(Chena)
  • Snake gourd(Padavalanga)
  • Brinjal(Vazhuthananga)
  • Drumstick(Muringakka)
  • Jackfruit seeds(Chakka kuru)
  • 1 tsp Freshly powdered pepper
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • Salt As reqd
  • Turmeric powder A pinch
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Wash and soak the dal well.
  • Cook the soaked dal and vegetables with turmeric powder and water for a while.
  • Add pepper powder, salt and curry leaves.
  • Cook, till the vegetables become soft.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  • Pour the above into the curry.
  • :- Serve hot with rice, raitha and papadam.
