Marinate the fish with the ingredients for marination and refrigerate it overnight in an air-tight container.
Heat oil/ghee in a big skillet.
Add onions and green chillies and fry, till golden brown.
Add marinated fish and fry.
Add half of dill leaves and half of coriander leaves.
Reduce the heat to the medium and cover and cook.
When the fish is about to be done, add yoghurt and stir slowly.
:- Do not to over stir and break the fish pieces.
Cover and cook for another 10 mins.
Turn off the heat and seperate the fish pieces from the gravy.
Drain the soaked rice.
Heat a tbsp of ghee in a cooker.
Add drained rice and fry for few mins.
Add the gravy from the fish, carrot, the remaining dill leaves, the remaining coriander leaves and 6 1/2 cups of water.
Pressure cook upto 1 whistle.
Let it rest for 15 mins.
Open the lid and remove the contents into a serving bowl.
Place the fish pieces on top of the rice.
Garnish with dill leaves.
