Grind together coriander leaves, green chillies, poppy seeds, ginger, garlic, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon sticks into a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry onions and tomatoes, until the onions turn golden brown.
Add potatoes and mix well.
Add the ground paste and stir for 5 mins.
Add chicken and stir again for 5 mins.
Add water and salt and mix well.
Cover and cook, till chicken is cooked and the gravy thickens.
