Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Basmathi rice
  • 2 small Mint leaves Pudhina
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 3 - Bay leaves Vazhana/Karuga ela
  • 3 nos Cardamom Elakka
  • 3 sticks Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3 cups Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves.
  • Add the mint leaves and saute it lightly.
  • :- Do not deep fry it.
  • Add rice and fry it for 2 - 3 mins.
  • Put them in the rice cooker along with water and salt.
  • Cook, till the rice is done.
  • :- Serve with any spicy dish.
