Pineapple Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pineapple cut small pieces
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 1/4 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 nos Red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 7 nos Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Cook pineapple pieces along with chilly powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, sugar and salt.
  • Grind together coconut, cumin seeds and curd.
  • Once pineapple is cooked and becomes soft, add the coconut paste and cook for 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Pour this seasoning into the above curry.
  • :- Serve with rice, pulao or biriyani.
