Pineapple Curry Pineapple pachadi 1 cup Pineapple (cut small pieces)2 nos Green chillies1/4 tsp Chilly powder1/4 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Salt2 tbsp Sugar1 cup Grated coconut1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)2 tbsp Curd1/4 tsp Mustard seeds2 nos Red chillies (Kollamulaku)7 nos Curry leaves2 tbsp Oil Cook pineapple pieces along with chilly powder, turmeric powder, green chillies, sugar and salt. Grind together coconut, cumin seeds and curd.Once pineapple is cooked and becomes soft, add the coconut paste and cook for 5 - 10 minutes. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.Add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add red chillies and curry leaves.Pour this seasoning into the above curry.:- Serve with rice, pulao or biriyani. Kerala
1.when you add sugar first proper cooking will no take place.2.after adding the coconut -curd paste,should not cook for more than 2 minutes ,if you cook for more time curry will split separate with water content
