When the sausages are done, put in the onions and saute the onions, till pink in colour.
Beat the egg with salt and pepper and keep aside.
To the sauteed onions, add the curry leaves, green chillies splitted lengthwise and sprinkle a pinch of red chilly powder and saute this for a minute or so.
Add the beaten egg and stir it in.
Powder the puttu pieces with your hand and add it and stir in well.
