Crush roughly the tinned fish with hand.
Heat half of the oil in a kadai or a pan.
Fry the fish, until brown and keep it aside.
Heat the remaining oil.
Add ginger, green chillies, chopped onions and garlic and saute them one by one.
Fry them till they become golden brown.
Add curry leaves and carrots and fry it, until soft.
Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder and fenugreek powder.
Fry, until the raw smell disappears.
Add tomato puree & salt. Mix well.
Add fried tin fish & 1/2 cup of hot water.
Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Turn off flame when dry.
