Tinned Tuna Fry

Ingredients
  

  • 400 g White tuna Tin fish
  • 1 cup Carrot grated
  • 2 nos Tomato blended in mixer, medium
  • 2 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp Green chillies chopped
  • 3 nos Onion chopped, medium
  • 4 tbsp Garlic chopped, chopped
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Fenugreek powder Uluva
  • 1/4 cup Oil

Instructions
 

  • Crush roughly the tinned fish with hand.
  • Heat half of the oil in a kadai or a pan.
  • Fry the fish, until brown and keep it aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil.
  • Add ginger, green chillies, chopped onions and garlic and saute them one by one.
  • Fry them till they become golden brown.
  • Add curry leaves and carrots and fry it, until soft.
  • Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder and fenugreek powder.
  • Fry, until the raw smell disappears.
  • Add tomato puree & salt. Mix well.
  • Add fried tin fish & 1/2 cup of hot water.
  • Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Turn off flame when dry.
  • :- Serve with roti.
