Special Fish Curry

Fish in coconut milk - Special Fish Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 800 gm King Fish
  • 1 Onion finely chopped, big
  • 1 no Tomato big
  • 7 nos Garlic pods
  • 1/2" piece Ginger
  • 5 nos Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Allpurpose flour Maida
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Curry leaves A few
  • Coriander leaves(optional)

Instructions
 

  • Make a paste with ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped onions and salt.
  • When they turn brown, add ginger-garlic-green chilly paste and curry leaves.
  • After a minute, add pepper powder, maida and 1/2 of the coconut milk.
  • Add 1/2 cup water and bring it to a boil.
  • When it starts to boil, add fish and turmeric powder.
  • Cook in a low flame.
  • When the fish is fully cooked, add rest of the coconut milk
  • Cook further for a minute. Add , garam masala and coriander leaves.
