Vegetable Pulav - Vegetable Pulav

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups Rice
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables Potatoes, Peas, Beans, Carrots, Cabbage
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 1 no Onion big
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Tumeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Soak rice for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
  • Add chopped onions and fry until it turns golden colour.
  • Add tomato and fry for some time.
  • Add all the vegetables and fry again.
  • Add rice along with 2 1/2 cups of water.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and garam masala.
  • Pressure cook till you hear 2 whistles.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
