Marinate prawns with red chilly powder, salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside for minimum half n hour.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chopped onions and saute them well.
Add crushed ginger and garlic and keep stirring.
Add finely cut tomatoes and allow the tomatoes to set in.
Add the marinated prawns and cover with a lid.
Allow it to cook.
When almost done, add grated coconut.
Finally, add capsicum and remove from fire, when the capsicum too is done.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
