Dry Keema

Beef(Kheema) in yoghurt or curd

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Meat minced
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 3-4 nos Dried red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 4 - Black peppercorn
  • 4 - Cloves Grambu
  • 1 - Cardamom Elakka
  • 1 no Bay leaf Vazhana/Karuga ela
  • 2 tbsp Yoghurt/Curd
  • 1 no Tomato chopped, medium
  • 1 no Onion chopped, medium
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Green chillies for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Saute the onion till light brown.
  • Add the spices along with the garlic and ginger paste. Mix well.
  • Add the minced meat and stir till the spices have mixed well with it and its` water has dried up.
  • Add 1 glass of water to it and leave on medium heat to tenderize.
  • When half done, add the yoghurt and tomatoes.
  • Cook till all the water has dried.
  • Mix well.
  • Garnish with chopped corriander leaves and green chillies.
  • :- Serve hot with naan or chappathi.
