Cooking oil for deep frying
Instructions
Mix together maida, salt, red chilly powder, asafoetida, ghee or oil and knead well to make a soft dough.
Make balls off the dough and roll them into very thin & large chappathis.
Make cuts using a knife by drawing a number of parallel lines to cut into diamond shaped pieces.
Deep fry in oil.
Drain and pack in a air-tight container for longer shelf life.
