peeled and grated

Full cream milk

Sugar
Cardamom powder
A pinch, Elakka
Saffron
A few strands

Orange colour

Ghee
Almonds(Badam) & Pista(chopped) for garnishing
Instructions
Put milk and carrots in a heavy saucepan and boil till it starts to become thick.
Once it starts thickening, stir constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
Add sugar and cook till it thickens further.
Add ghee, cardamom powder, saffron and colour.
Stir on low heat, till the mixture collects in a soft ball or the ghee separates.
Garnish with chopped almonds or pistachios.
:- Serve hot.
