Jeeraka Kanji Easy

Jeeraka kanji or Rice Gruel

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Basmati rice
  • 1 cup Fresh grated coconut
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 no Garlic pods
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds Jeerakam
  • 2 nos Small onions Kunjulli
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Wash the rice and boil.
  • Grind coconut, turmeric, garlic, cumin seeds and small onions with little water.
  • Add the mixture to the boiled rice.
  • Bring it to a boil and put off the flame.
  • Add salt.
  • :- Serve hot.
