Tomato Omelette

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups Rice not basmati
  • 1 cup Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 1/4 cup Bengal gram Kadalaparippu
  • 1 no Onion
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 2 nos Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak rice, black gram dal and Bengal gram dal separately for 4 hours.
  • Grind them together by adding water till it becomes a very fine paste. (Batter should not be very thick)
  • Add salt and keep the batter overnight.
  • Add turmeric powder, chopped onions, green chillies and finely cut tomatoes into the batter.
  • Prepare dosas the usual way.
  • :- Serve hot with chutney.
