Stuffed Paratha

Ingredients
  

  • For Stuffing:
  • 5-6 nos Beans finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Peas
  • 1/2 cup Carrot finely chopped
  • 1 no Potato boiled and mashed, small
  • 2 nos Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt As reqd
  • For covering:
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 3 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Paneer or Milk

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Stuffed Paratha, first cook the chopped vegetables: beans, peas and carrot with little water.
  • Squeeze out water from the vegetables using your hand and mash them. (You can save this water and use it while kneading.)
  • Mix together salt, green chillies and garam masala powder with the mashed vegetables and potato. Keep the mixture aside.
  • Knead the wheat flour with oil, salt, paneer and desired amount of water to make a dough(just like chappathi dough).
  • Pluck out small balls from the dough and pat it with hand to make it a little bigger.
  • Place a lemon sized stuffing in it`s middle and close it.
  • Roll out gently, smear ghee and put it on the tawa.
  • Cook till both sides are crisp and done.
  • Tasty and nutritious Stuffed Parathas are ready.
