Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 - Onions chopped
  • 8 nos Cloves Grambu
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder Jeerakam
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 3 tsp Malai or thick cream
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3 - Oil
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Chicken Coconut Malai Curry, first heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the cloves for few seconds.
  • Add chopped ginger, garlic and fry for a minute.
  • Add chopped onions, chilly powder, coriander powder, mustard powder, cumin powder, turmeric and fry until the onions turn brown.
  • Add chicken pieces, salt, coconut milk and lower the flame. Cook until the pieces are tender.
  • When the gravy is thickened, add thick cream, stir and remove from heat.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice.
  • :- Serve hot with plain rice or pulao rice.
