Mutton Vindaloo

Mutton with Kashmiri spices

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Mutton
  • 2 nos Potato medium
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri Chilly powder
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin Jeerakam
  • 10 nos Garlic pods
  • 3 cm Ginger
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 5 tbsp Vinegar
  • ½ cup Small onions Kunjulli
  • 2 nos Onion big
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till it turns brown.
  • Grind small onions to a paste.
  • Grind cumin seeds, mustard, chopped garlic, ginger, pepper, chilly powder, turmeric powder and vinegar.
  • Add onion paste to the big onions and fry for some time.
  • Add the masala paste and fry.
  • Add mutton and chopped potatoes along with salt and water. Cook till the mutton is soft and done.
  • :- Serve hot.
