Spicy Prawn gravy - Prawn Curry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Prawns Chemmen
  • 2 nos Onions
  • 2 nos Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves Few sprigs
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt As reqd

For the masala:-

  • Pepper As reqd
  • Fenugreek As reqd, Uluva
  • Aniseed As reqd, Perinjeerakam
  • Coconut

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan (preferably coconut oil).
  • Add mustard seeds and when it splutters, add curry leaves, diced onions and fry them well till they turn golden brown.
  • Add one diced capsicum, ginger garlic paste, masala paste.
  • Mix it well adding little water.
  • Add more capsicum and cook well.
  • Marinate the prawns with turmeric powder and salt.
  • Add the marinated prawns to the masala.
  • Finally, add garam masala, chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves.
  • :- Serve hot with rice or rotis.
