Pepper Chicken Curry

Ingredients
  

  • ½ kg Chicken
  • 1 no Garlic pods
  • 1 no Cloves Grambu
  • 1 no Bay leaves Karuga ela
  • 2 nos Cinnamon Karugapatta
  • 2 nos Cardamom optional, Elakka
  • 200 gm Onions
  • 200 gm Tomatoes
  • 1 no Lemon
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 tsp Pepper corns Kurumulaku
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 2 nos Green chilly
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Chop the onions and tomatoes, slit the green chillies and crush the peppercorns. Keep them aside.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and saute the spices followed by the onions.
  • When they are soft, add the ginger garlic paste, garlic flakes, tomato, turmeric powder and mix them well.
  • Add little water till the onions and tomato cook well.
  • Add chicken and water.
  • Add the crushed pepper and salt, stir well and cook till the chicken is cooked.
  • Finally, add green chillies.
  • When the gravy thickens, remove from fire. :- Pepper Chicken Curry is ready. :- Serve hot with any flavored rice.
