Shanghai Chicken

Chicken in soya sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Chicken
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • ½ cup Onion
  • 2 - Green Chillies
  • ½ cup Spring Onion
  • 1 tbsp Cashewnut
  • 1 tsp Corn flour
  • 1 no Egg
  • Sugar As reqd
  • Salt As reqd
  • Vinegar A few drops
  • 3 tsp Tomato Sauce
  • Soya Sauce
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix the chicken with little salt, egg, and corn flour.
  • Deep-fry it in oil one by one.
  • When it turns golden brown in colour, drain and remove.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, chopped onions, green chilly and cashew nuts and sautT well till the onions turn brown.
  • Add salt, sugar and vinegar.
  • Add soya sauce, tomato sauce with a teaspoon of water.
  • When the sauce is cooked, add the fried chicken and spring onions.
  • :- Serve hot with any Fried rice.
