Carrot Soup Easy

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Carrots
  • 2 tsp Masoor dal (Parippu) red
  • 1 no Bay leaf Karuga ela
  • 1 no Cardamom(big) Elakka
  • 1" Cinnamom stick Karugapatta
  • 1 no Onion grated
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Soak dal in water for two hours.
  • Grate the carrots.
  • Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add bay leaf, cinnamom stick and cardamom.
  • Fry the onions.
  • Add dal and carrots along with salt, sugar and black pepper.
  • Add milk and water together and cover it with it¦s lid.
  • Wait for one whistle and then simmer it for 8-10 minutes.
  • Take it out from the pressure cooker and wait till it cools down.
  • Next, grind it in a grinder and strain it using a muslin cloth.
  • Boil it again.
  • Add cheese at the time of serving.
  • :- Serve hot.
