Soup Hariyali

Soup made with spinach or paalak

Ingredients
  

  • 2 small Paalak Cheera
  • 1 cup Peas fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup Fenugreek leaves Uluva
  • 1/4 cup Green gram(yellow) Cheruparippu
  • Ginger A very small piece
  • 2 nos Garlic pods
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • 1 no Onion small
  • Salt As reqd
  • 3-4 tbsp Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Butter

Instructions
 

  • Wash the spinach leaves and fenugreek leaves well.
  • Put all the ingredients except for cream and butter in a pressure cooker and cook it.
  • Allow it to cool and then, blend it in a mixer.
  • Put this paste in a pan.
  • Add salt to it and boil for a few minutes.
  • Add a little hot water if the soup is too thick.
  • :- Serve in soup bowls, adding a swirl of cream and a blob of butter.
