Red gram, Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu), Green gram(Cheruparippu)
Thuvaraparippu
Coriander seeds

Preferably a bit sour

Fenugreek(Uluva) seeds

Instructions
Soak the mixture of dals in water along with a little coriander seeds overnight.
Grind the above in a mixer into a rough mixture.
Mix this with the butter milk and stir well.
Add a little turmeric powder and boil this mixture for 5-7 minutes after adding salt.
Heat a little oil in a pan and add mustard seeds followed by fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, broken red chillies and curry leaves.
When the mixture starts to boil, add this seasoning to it and mix well.
:- Serve with steaming rice.
