Aloo Poori

Pooris made with aloos or potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • ½ kg Potatoes
  • ½ cup Wheat flour Atta
  • 2 tsp Dry Methileaves Uluva
  • ¼ tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes and keep them aside.
  • Mix together maida, wheat flour, baking powder,black pepper, salt, dry methi leaves and curd.
  • Grate the boiled potatoes and add it to the above mixture.
  • Knead the above into a dough.
  • :-If green methi is not available then you can add yellow methi (ground).
  • Make pooris from the above dough.
  • Fry them in oil.
  • :- Serve hot. :- Makes 25-30 pooris.
