North Indian Easy Vegetable Cutlet

Simple, tasty and easy to prepare North Indian Easy Vegetable Cutlet, tastes great and filling with a cup of hot tea. The nutritious combo of vegetables makes the dish unique and satisfying. Light on the stomach, North Indian Easy Vegetable Cutlet can be prepared very easily when you are short of time. The rice flour mixture applying on the outer crust of the cutlet, gives a firm bonding to the cutlets. Enjoy fried hot cutlets with green chutney or any dip of your choice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 kg Potatoes, Beans, Carrots, Green Peas, Beetroot optional
  • 2 nos Onion grated, medium
  • Rice flour As reqd
  • Semolina/Rava As reqd
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • Cinnamom powder A pinch, Karugapatta
  • Water As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Cut the vegetables into large pieces and steam them in a pressure cooker or a food steamer.
  • Mash them well.
  • Add grated onions, salt, red chilly powder, garam masla powder and cinnamom powder and continue mixing to form a tight mixture.
  • Take some rice flour and add water to make it into a thin batter.
  • Shape the vegetable mixture into even sized balls or any other shape using the palm of your hands.
  • Next, dip these balls in the rice flour and then cover it with rava.
  • Deep fry the balls until they turn golden brown in colour.
  • :-Serve the North Indian Easy Vegetable Cutlet hot with Tomato Ketchup.
