Potato Bharta | Aloo Bharta

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Potato
  • 100 g Onion
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • 3 nos Green chillies small
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 twig Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Boil the potatoes fully, peel and mash them.
  • Heat some oil and add mustard seeds and black gram and allow them to splutter.
  • Add finely cut onions and fry until the onions turn transparent.
  • Add some fine pieces of green chillies too. Stir in turmeric powder.
  • Next, add the mashed potatoes, salt and fry.
  • Finally, add some curry leaves.
