Ingredients
  

  • 300 gm Gram flour Kadalamavu
  • 200 gm Rice flour
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sesame seeds or cumin seeds(Jeerakam) Ellu
  • 6 tsp Ghee or butter
  • 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Kayam
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients into a thick paste.
  • Place a large ball of this mixture inside a "murukku achu" and squeeze the achu so that the murukku drops into boiling oil.
  • Turn over until fully cooked and crisp.
