Beans Fry

Beans stir fry

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm Beans
  • 3 nos Red chillies Kollamulaku
  • 1 tsp Black gram Uzhunnuparippu
  • Asafoetida optional, Kayam
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Curry leaves A few

Instructions
 

  • Cut the beans into small pieces of about 1 inch size.
  • Wash the beans and put them a bowl along with salt, turmeric powder and cook in low flame.
  • Cook them till they become soft. Once it becomes soft, remove from the flame.
  • Drain the vegetable and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the red chillies, black gram and asafoetida for a few seconds.
  • Add cooked beans and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add curry leaves. Saute till beans is fried.
