Upma Easy

Upma Breakfast Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Semolina Rava
  • 2 nos Onion medium
  • 3 - Green Chillies
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • Coriander leaves A little

Instructions
 

  • Heat the rava till it becomes light brown and keep it aside.
  • Heat the ghee and fry the mustard seeds.
  • Add curry leaves, chopped onions, slit chillies, crushed ginger and coriander leaves to it and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add 2 and a half cups of water and the reqd salt and leave it to boil.
  • Add rava to the boiling water little by little, stirring the water properly.
  • Cook until it is soft and thick.
  • :- Upma is ready.
  • :- Serve upma hot with coconut chutney.
